Masaryk University (Masaryk University) is the second largest university in the Czech Republic and is located in the city of Brno. The university is named after Tomas Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia. It was founded in 1919 and started its educational and research activities shortly after the proclamation of Czechoslovakia's independence.
