TSI - Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) is a modern university of applied sciences with a deep-rooted history in Latvia. TSI was founded in 1999, taking over the legacy of Riga Civil Aviation Engineers Institute (RKIIGA) and Riga Aviation University (RAU). Today, it stands out as the only private technical higher education institution in Latvia.

TSI offers its educational programs in Latvian and English and has permanent accreditation in Latvia. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of transport and logistics, aviation, computer science and networks, electronics and robotics, business and management. In addition, TSI is the only university offering specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Since 2020, TSI has been offering 3 double-degree programs in cooperation with the University of the West of England - Uwe Bristol. This cooperation is a testament to TSI's educational quality and compliance with British educational standards.

TSI is also actively involved in research and scientific work and is among the leading scientific institutions among private higher education institutions in Latvia. Its academic staff includes members of the Latvian Science Council and industry professionals from around the world.

To date, TSI has graduated over 9,000 students and hosts students from over 40 countries internationally. The most popular fields of study include IT, logistics and aviation.
