*IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP)
Encourages students aged 11 to 16 to explore the connections between academic subjects and the real world. This is done through experiential learning projects that develop critical thinking skills.

The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is a pre-university qualification recognised by universities in over 140 countries.

* AMADEUS High School Diploma (Grades 9-12)
The high school education programme is ideal if you are unsure whether a specialised International Baccalaureate (IB) programme is right for you. The AMADEUS High School Diploma offers a comprehensive curriculum that prepares you for success at universities in the USA and some in Europe. It covers all subjects from grades 9 to 12. You need to earn 21 credits to graduate. This includes taking a range of courses in core subjects such as Languages, Humanities, Science, Mathematics and Arts. You will also develop your versatility through courses in Physical Education and Design. Finally, a Capstone Research Project allows you to delve deeper into a topic of interest, developing critical thinking and research skills.

* The language of instruction at AMADEUS is English. German courses are compulsory for all grades from 1st to 10th. Students do not need to have any prior knowledge of German when applying to AMADEUS. Although English proficiency is not required to start studying at AMADEUS, a student's acceptance will generally depend on their level of English, especially in the Diploma Programme. An EAL (English as an Additional Language) programme is available for students who need additional support with English.

* AMADEUS accepts applications throughout the academic year; once a student's application is complete, an acceptance decision is normally sent within 3-5 working days. Applicants from non-EU countries are advised to allow at least 4 months to apply for an Austrian visa.
