Ewha Womans University is a well-established private university in Seoul, founded in 1886, that provides education specifically for female students. Ewha provides education at undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels. Undergraduate programs generally last 4 years, and master's programs usually last 2 years. Ewha Womans University is located in the Seodaemun-gu district of Seoul, in the Sinchon–Ewha area, where universities are concentrated. Ewha Womans University Station (Metro Line 2) is located right near the campus and transportation to the campus is very easy. For example, you can reach the university in about 17 minutes by subway from Seoul Station, and in about 1 hour by subway from Incheon Airport.

One of the biggest advantages of the region for students is that university life is very busy.
