Alpadıa - Summer Camp

Alpadia's Leysin summer camp is located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, 1,263 meters above sea level, with stunning mountain views. The camp is held in a 3-star hotel where classrooms, accommodation and dining areas are located under the same roof. It has a "bilingual" structure that provides both English and French language education.

• Location: Leysin (Switzerland), Hotel Central Résidence.
• Age Range: 8-17 years.
• Language: English or French.

The camp offers different education options according to the students' levels and interests:

• Standard Program: 20 lessons per week (08:30 - 11:45 in the morning).
• Intensive Program: 25 lessons per week (Additional lessons 11:45 - 12:30).

Premium Activities (Additional Options):

• Adrenaline (13 years): Tobogganing, Dirt Scoot (mountain scooter) and Mountain Bike tour.
• Cooking Workshop: Preparation of desserts (macarons, crêpes, etc.), sauces and salads.
• Equestrian: Riding lessons for beginner and advanced levels, horse care training.
• Tennis: Tennis suitable for all levels. lessons (at the local indoor tennis centre).

• Autumn 27 September – 17 October 2026

A full activity program is organized for students on weekdays and weekends:

• Half Day Trips and Activities: Cave tours (Vallorbe), salt mines (Bex), adventure parks (Labyrinth), nature walks (Hike) and shopping/city tours in the towns on the shores of Lake Geneva (Vevey, Lausanne, Montreux).
• Full Day Trips: Cailler Chocolate Factory and Gruyères town, Alpine Zoo, Aquapark, Chillon Castle.
• On-Campus Sports: Indoor pool, football, basketball, volleyball, minigolf, table tennis, ice skating, bouldering, street hockey, etc.
• Evening Activities: Karaoke and Disco, night walk, BBQ (barbecue) on the mountain, quiz nights, talent show, movie nights.

Students stay at Hotel Central Résidence

• Room Type: Circular-style bedrooms for 4 people.
• Features: Rooms have private bathrooms and balconies (with impressive mountain views from the balconies). The rooms are equipped with a desk, wardrobe, chair and lamp.
• General Areas: Common lounge, dining area, playgrounds (foosball, table tennis), terrace and garden with a magnificent view.

Services:

• Daily room cleaning (free).
• Laundry service (paid, once a week, starting from the 2nd week).
• Free Wi-Fi (throughout the residence).
• Towels are not provided free of charge at the hotel (additional). may be subject to a fee or must be brought by the student).
