University of Greenwich is one of the well-established public universities located in London, the capital of England. The history of the university dates back to Woolwich Polytechnic, which was founded in 1890, and has been continuing to provide education under the name of University of Greenwich since 1992.

The university has three main campuses: Greenwich Campus and Avery Hill Campus are located in London, and Medway Campus is located in the Kent region. The historic Greenwich campus on the banks of the River Thames is considered one of the most striking university campuses in London. While Avery Hill offers a campus experience that is quieter and surrounded by green areas, the Medway campus stands out especially in the fields of engineering, laboratory and applied sciences.
