Application conditions for the Preparatory School

Completing high school education and having a high school diploma.

Showing English proficiency at minimum B1 level.

Submitting a CV and motivation letter.

Providing a passport copy.

Uploading the high school diploma to the system.

Providing an English proficiency certificate.

Paying the 150 EUR application fee.

The student must be over 18 years of age at the time of registration.

BME has 7 different student dormitories affiliated with the university. Fee-paying students can also apply to dormitories affiliated with their faculty.
Dormitory placement is not automatic; Students must apply through the KEFIR system at the beginning of the semester.
Admission points are taken into account in the placement of first-year students, and academic success is taken into account in upper grades. There may also be different evaluations and quotas for paying students depending on the faculty.
In BME dormitories, students generally stay in double rooms.
The rooms have refrigerators.
There are shared bathrooms on the floors.
The dormitories have internet connection and study rooms.
Some dormitories also have a fitness center for the use of students.
Dormitory registration requires a deposit of 20,000 HUF; The deposit is refunded if the student does not damage the room when leaving the dormitory.
