The student's academic background is strengthened with special lessons according to the undergraduate program to be chosen.
It helps the student to adapt to the BME education system and university life.
The purpose of the program is to prepare the student. It is to prepare students for BME's English BSc or single-cycle programs.
Undergraduate – BSc
Duration: Generally 6–8 semesters, depending on the program.
Students receive theoretical and practical professional training in the field they choose.
Engineering programs include projects, laboratories and applied studies in addition to mathematics, physics, computer science and technical courses.
Professional Pilot BSc students also study aviation, flight operations, navigation, meteorology, flight planning. and multi-engine aircraft systems.
In the practical part of the piloting program, training is given for professional pilot qualifications such as CPL, ATPL(A), MEP/IR, APS MCC and UPRT.
Graduates can enter working life directly or continue with relevant MSc programs.
Master's Degree - MSc
Duration: Most programs are 4 semesters; Some engineering programs last 3 semesters.
Advanced expertise and applied training are added to the knowledge in undergraduate education.
Depending on the programs, there is the opportunity to specialize in fields such as advanced engineering, artificial intelligence, computer science, finance, management, mathematics, physics, transportation and vehicle technologies.

Dormitories located on or near the university campus are an affordable and safe accommodation option for students. Dormitories offer the chance to attend social events and easily interact with other students. In Budapest, students can adopt an independent lifestyle by renting private apartments or shared houses. This option provides more freedom and independence, but may cost slightly more than dorms. The city is home to many private student hostels and residential facilities. These dorms offer students safe and affordable accommodation. Some students are able to rent a room in local people's homes through home sharing platforms. This option may be ideal for students who want to have cultural experiences and interact more with the locals.
