Pre-Medical/Foundation: It is not offered within the university's own official body, but through the partner institution McDaniel College Budapest — it strengthens basic science courses such as biology and chemistry and English language skills and prepares students for the entrance exam. It is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended, it increases the chances of acceptance.

9. Undergraduate/Integrated Program (Doctor of General Medicine, MD): 6 years, full-time — first 2 years theoretical module, 3rd year pre-clinical, 4-5. year clinical, 6th year internship/internship emphasis.

10. Dentistry (Doctor of Dental Medicine): 5 years

11. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Sciences, MPharm): 5 years

12. Health Sciences BSc/MSc programs: 4 years (BSc) and subsequent master's degree options in fields such as Nursing, Physiotherapy, Midwifery, Dietetics, Optometry.

13. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD): Research-oriented programs in various departments.

Preparatory (Pre-Medical, McDaniel College)

-High school diploma (application is possible even if not completed, but it must be completed).

-English proficiency — there is no strict lower limit, as the program aims to improve language skills itself, but basic level is expected.

-Program runs from June 2026 to May 2027 (approximately 1 year).

-Deadline to apply if a student visa is required. November 2026 - Early application is recommended as the visa process may take a long time.




Undergraduate (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy)

-Being at least 18 years old.

-High school diploma, strong science (Biology and Chemistry preferably) background.

-Application can be made through the university's SEMAPHOR online system.

-For 2026 entry: Application start date is January 12, 2026, deadline is May 31, 2026.

-Entrance exam: Biology and Chemistry emphasis, timed tests (~20 minutes for each test) — according to some sources, it can also be done online. There is also an interview phase.

-English proficiency is evaluated as part of the application process.

-Admission result is notified approximately 2 weeks after the entrance exam.




Health Sciences (BSc) and Master's Degree

-High school diploma or bachelor's degree in related field (for master's degree).

-Online entrance exam, interview and proof of English proficiency — requirements are light depending on the program may change.




Entrance Exam Dates and School Start

-Academic year starts in September — single entry period (September intake).

-Entrance exams are held on a rolling basis between March and June — there is no fixed date, the exam date is selected as the application is approved.

-Exact exam dates, after the application fee is paid. It is notified through the SEMAPHOR system.

-Early application is important — the number of places is limited and it is a popular university.
