Alexandra College is a private girls' day and boarding school in the Milltown area of ??Dublin, founded in 1866. The school provides education from pre-school to senior high school and stands out with its educational approach that supports academic success, leadership, creativity and personal development, especially at the secondary level. While preparing students for Leaving Certificate exams and university education; It aims to raise well-rounded individuals through art, sports, music and social activities.

Education System

The school has a single education system. It consists of 3 interconnected periods: Lower Secondary Education Program (Junior Cycle), Transition Year and Senior Cycle.

-Lower Secondary Education Program (3 years): It is the first stage of secondary education and is the program in which basic academic knowledge and skills are gained.
-Transition Year Program (1 year): It is a transition year that aims for students to gain personal development, leadership, social responsibility and work experience.
-Upper. Secondary Education Program (2 years): It is the program in which students prepare for Leaving Certificate exams and university education.

Application Period

-1st Year registrations: Starts in October.

-2nd–6th Year applications: Acceptance throughout the year, depending on quota availability.
