Students whose English or academic proficiency is not sufficient for direct admission can transfer to the undergraduate program by completing the Swinburne College Foundation or UniLink Diploma programs.

Health Requirements

Pilot candidates are required to obtain CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate before starting flight training.

Pilot Skills Assessment Test

In order to be accepted into the program, candidates must successfully complete the **Pilot Skills Assessment Test**.

Within the scope of this evaluation;

Basic motor coordination

is measured.

Exam Dates

There is no fixed annual exam calendar announced by the university for the Pilot Skills Assessment Test.

Candidates whose applications pass the preliminary evaluation are notified by the university of the exam date and time via e-mail. Evaluations are made throughout the application periods.


What Happens If You Fail?

Candidates who are not successful in the Pilot Skills Assessment Test are not accepted to the program.

There is no information in the current official resources of the university that the exam can be taken again in the same application period. If candidates re-apply, they must be subject to the admission process valid at that time.

Final Admission

Candidates who successfully complete the Pilot Skills Assessment Test and meet all entry requirements receive final acceptance to the program.

After the registration process, students begin their theoretical training at the Hawthorn Campus and start flight training at the CAE Melbourne Flight Training (Moorabbin Airport) center from the 3rd week of the training.
