Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin) is a research university located in Berlin, Germany, particularly strong in the fields of engineering, technology, natural sciences and computer science. The university is one of the most important technical universities in Berlin, with a deep-rooted history dating back to the 1770s, and today offers more than 150 undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition to engineering and science, programs also extend to fields such as computer science, architecture, urban planning, business, culture and social sciences. While the main campus is located in the city center of Berlin's Charlottenburg district, the university also has other campuses in Wedding, Schöneberg and Steglitz.
Preparatory Programs
Studienkolleg – Academic Preparation
Students whose high school diploma in Türkiye does not provide direct admission to university in Germany may be required to participate in the Studienkolleg program. TU Berlin's Studienkolleg program prepares students academically for university education in Germany and lasts 1 year / 2 semesters.
T-Course: Preparation for engineering, technical and science fields
W-Course: Preparation for business, economics and social sciences
Language of instruction: German
Duration: 1 year / 2 semesters
Courses: German, mathematics and selected field courses for
Start: Winter and summer semesters
Entrance exam: German and mathematics
At the end of the program: Feststellungsprüfung (FSP)
Students who successfully complete FSP obtain the academic qualification required to apply for university education in Germany.
Application: Made through Uni-assist.
Fee: No separate tuition fee is charged for education and FSP; only semester student contribution is paid.

Term Contribution Fee (Semesterbeitrag): Approximately between € 310 - € 350 per semester (Berlin public transport ticket-Semesterticket included).

State Student Dormitories: The most economical option (250 € – 450 € per month). Applications are made through the portal after the acceptance certificate, waiting times are long.
Student Shared Houses (WG): The most common model in Berlin (450 € - 850 € per month).
Private Student Dormitories: 650 € – 1.200 € per month
TU Berlin's main campus is located on Straße des 17. Juni in the center of Berlin-Charlottenburg. While there is a connection between the North and South campuses of the campus, the university also has campuses in other regions.
