Erdee International Boarding School
IB Programme
My reason for choosing this school was related to horseback riding; it was for sports purposes. But we also chose this school because it's academically very strong. They keep you strong academically because they teach in a way that's more like a family environment, like private lessons, more one-on-one. You can also find your own people. There are different people from every country, so you get to meet everyone and see all kinds of people. Besides that, the school has all kinds of activities. There are all sorts of programs and activities; they never bore you. They try to balance academics and discipline while also ensuring fun and a homey feeling, which I think is very important in a school, especially a boarding school, because you're going abroad and your family isn't with you. Besides that, yes, the after-school activities are great; there are all kinds of activities here. They place a lot of importance on music. I have many friends here who are interested in music. And the arts are great. One of my friends has a deal with a museum now; his paintings are being exhibited. There's horseback riding, dance, gymnastics, GAM, football, basketball – everything is there, and they support you in every way. They drive you there when it's cold. You can also go by bike at some point. They provide all kinds of support; I highly recommend them. Academically, the IB program is very challenging, and finding a school that manages it well is also very difficult because there are so many things you need to do, and I think this school organizes it exceptionally well. They help with everything, and if you have any problems, you can just email the school and they'll solve everything. Since I came here, I feel like I've settled down, my character has matured, and I'm more at peace with myself.
